Here’s a yummy recipe!!

Title: Glazed Cinnamon Apples

Have you ever had some glazed cinnamon apples for dessert or along with a stake at a restaurant? Well here’s the recipe and it is delicious!! And EASY! Made for a 4 qt slow-cooker. You can add less apples if your cooker isn't that large (thats what we do).

1 slow cooker liner (optional) - saves you from having to

6 large granny smith apples, peeled, cored and cut in
8 wedges (adjust the amount to size of cooker).
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup packed light brown sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
6 tablespoons butter, melted
Vanilla ice cream, crumbled oatmeal or ginger snap cookies (optional)

Fit your liner to your cooker. Place apples in cooker and drizzle with lemon juice. Mix granulated sugar, brown sugar. flour, cinnamon and nutmeg in a zip-lock bag (less dishes to wash). Sprinkle mixture over apples. Stir to coat apples. Drizzle with butter. Place lid on cooker.

Cook on low for 3 hours or high for 2 hours or until apples are done (tender). Serve warm apple topping over ice cream. Top with crumbled cookies if desired. Enjoy!
